What you can write to us about
We are happy to hear from you about anything to do with the site, for example:
- A mistake on the map, such as a city in the wrong place or a missing island.
- An error in a province guide or a translation.
- Ideas for new places, layers or features you would like to see.
- Using the map or the painted artwork in a video, mod, article or other project.
- Copyright, trademark or privacy questions.
- Press and partnership enquiries.
Reporting a map or lore mistake
To help us fix it quickly, include the address of the page, the language you were reading it in, what looks wrong and what you think it should be. A link to a source, such as a page on the Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages or a screenshot from a game, makes it much easier to confirm.
Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe something on this site uses your work without permission, email us with your name, a description of the work, the address of the page where it appears and a way to contact you. We take these reports seriously, review them promptly and remove material where a claim is valid.
Using the map in your project
You do not need to ask before using the downloaded painted map or exported map images in a non-commercial fan project such as a video, stream, mod, roleplay campaign or guide, as long as the tamrielmap.com watermark stays visible or you give a credit. Our Terms and Conditions explain exactly what is allowed.
For commercial use, such as printed products for sale, paid apps or published books, email us first with a short description of the project, where the map will appear and roughly how many copies or viewers you expect. We will get back to you with an answer and, where needed, a higher-resolution file.
Press and partnerships
Journalists, content creators and community projects are welcome to get in touch about interviews, features or collaborations. Please mention your publication or channel and any deadline in your first message so we can prioritise it.
Privacy requests
If you have a question about your data or want us to delete an email you sent us, write to the same address. Our Privacy Policy explains what information the site handles and how.
What we cannot help with
We are a fan site, so we cannot help with game purchases, accounts, crashes or technical support for The Elder Scrolls games. For those, please contact Bethesda support directly.
